LOGOS
Experience the family ministry that has been adopted by more than
20 denominations and
150 churches, which believe that everyone is a child of God and no
one should be treated
as if they don’t matter. At LOGOS, kids ages 4 through 8th grade and
adults develop
relationships in a program that is practical, purposeful and
impactful.
The LOGOS program at Calvary is held on Wednesday nights from
October through March.
It wraps religious education with an evening of fun activities. Your
kids will be asking you to
get them to church on time so they don’t miss out on the
recreational time with their friends.
Family time consists of a weekly activity and family-style meal.
Table parents engage kids in
lively conversation, while the kids take turns serving each other.
Seventh and eighth graders attend confirmation classes, while
younger kids participate in
Bible study. Trained teachers incorporate games and activities into
their lessons, promoting
an accepting environment where kids can ask questions and seek
answers.
The evening concludes with worship skills where kids participate in
small group activities,
such as singing, hand bells, dramatic skits and puppet ministry.
Throughout the evening, LOGOS offers our children and youth an
engaging and fun place to
be where they can belong and be themselves. Once a month, the LOGOS
program
concludes with family worship from 6:45 to 7:30.
